THE HORNCASTLE GREEN WHEEL
A potential asset for our Town's Folk and Community Groups.

BACKGROUND INTRODUCTION.

1. The Horncastle Green Wheel Study Report was commissioned by Horncastle Town Council in 2014 for inclusion as Appendix U of the Horncastle Neighbourhood Development Plan 2014 - 2029, which was adopted by the Council in 2016.
From this, the Horncastle Local Council term of office, 2023-2027, a Strategic Plan was produced. (Updated Sept. 2024.)

2.  What is the Horncastle Green Wheel?  You will need to read in full, this comprehensive report, for all the correct and in-depth terminology and hurdles, however: As part of Horncastle's long term developing Green Infrastructure (GI), it will be, when identified, adopted, legalised and completed, a circuit around Horncastle and its Green Spaces (existing and new).  For Walkers, Bikers (non-motorised) and Horse, Riders.

About Us

This non-medical & informal group was formed in November 2022.  The overarching aim of the group is to give local area, Stroke Survivors, the chance to meet up with other local Stroke Survivors and Carers.  Thereby giving conversation and experience exchange opportunities.

The wider aim is to provide a self-help platform and common interest to aid social confidence and interest and all the benefits that come with it.
